Loved his chocolate cupcake!
My big 1-year-old!
Brooke's birthday is next week, and Grandma Melinda let her open her gift early. She's in love with this new "fancy" dress (it will be perfect for her tea party birthday).

Lately...
I took a quick trip to Utah for my little sister, Anna's, gradutions from BYU. I just took baby Cooper with me, and we had a great time! I'm so proud of Anna!
We also took a quick trip to Kansas City for the open house of the new temple there. Our whole family went, and Adam's mom and dad came with us. It was a great trip!
Brody lost his first tooth! It was crazy because it wasn't even loose. He was biting the plastic wrapping on something to try to open it and his tooth came out!
Cooper has been such a great baby! He smiles a lot and he loves his big brother and sister.
Some of my family came out for Cooper's blessing. This is with my mom, dad, and Papa.
4 generations -- Papa, Mom, me, and Cooper.
Papa holding Cooper -- I thought this was too cute.
It's hard to catch Cooper's smiles on camera, but here's one!

Christmas 2011
We had a great Christmas here in Missouri this year. We visited my family in Virginia for New Years (pictures of our trip out East to come...)
A pair of new Wrangler jeans for Brody (from Adam).
Christmas morning -- Brody and Brooke with the stack of gifts Santa left for them.
Santa brought Brooke a doll house -- she loves it!
Brody got an animal trap -- he's still waiting to catch something (I'm afraid everything might be hibernating for the winter...).
Now we're in "get-ready-for-baby" mode. Hopefully he'll be here sometime at the end of next month. We're getting excited!

Our summer so far...
Brody is done with his first year of preschool. Here he is at his class picnic with his wonderful teacher, Ms. Ginger! I'm so happy he'll have her again next year!
My parent's have chickens and my kids loved them (especially Brody). We also loved spending time with cousins!
We've started our summer with a bang -- literally. Brody's had 2 major falls so far (within about 6 days of each other. This one happened when he fell off a little tractor he was riding in the rocks. He had a fat lip for a few days.
This one scared me -- he fell out of the back of Adam's pick-up truck and landed right on that spot on his head in the gravel. It's one of the worst feelings to have your child come in the house screaming with blood running down their face. He's all better now!
I went home for a week in May for my little brother Tony's graduation from GMU. I talked Tim and Tony into taking me to Georgetown cupcakes. It was so fun! These are our beautiful cupcakes. (don't worry -- we shared the cupcakes with Dad, Mom, and Janine when I got home)
