Back from the Beach!!!

We got back from a week at the beach with my family in Virginia Beach. It was wonderful!!! This is my brother, Tim, with Brody at the beach. We didn't have swim suits on because it was Sunday and we were just going to walk down to the beach and walk around for a little while, but then the kids couldn't resist getting in the water so Brody ended up in just a diaper.

Grandpa (my dad) showed the kids how to catch sand crabs. In this picture is my sister, Janine, my dad, Brody, and Janine's kids, Sophie and Spencer.

I can't remember why but Brody went off to pout at some point and he looked really cute doing it.

There was a lot of this going on during our vaction. I'm glad Adam could rest and relax and enjoy his time away from work.

Brooke did a really good job of sleeping while we were down at the beach. She would just sprawl out on a towl and sleep for a few hours while we played and relaxed.

Adam and Brody rode go-carts together. We don't have a picture of me and Brody riding bumper boats together, but that was fun too.

All of the cousins loved Brooke like crazy, especially Sophie, and they wanted to hold her and play with her.

The grandkids buried Aunt Anna (my little sister) with the help of Grandpa. She was such a good sport. Aunt Anna is the BEST!

We had a GREAT time at the beach this year. The weather was perfect -- it couldn't have been better. We were so glad to see my family and spend the week with them. We missed Uncle Rolly, Aunt Erika, Megan and Katie and hope they'll be there next year with their new baby. I'm at my parent's house now for another week and Adam had to go back home to get back to work. We miss him tons already and will be glad to get back home on Saturday. We can't wait for next year!
